Fringe Shocker: Broyles is a Smooth-Jazz Man?
OK, in reality, we have no idea what icy Homeland Security agent Phillip Broyles listens to on his car stereo on Fringe -- although we suspect it's messages in static, or transmissions from the alien overlords secretly manipulating The Pattern. But Entertainment Weekly hit us with an impressive dose of cognitive dissonace this week when it revealed that Lance Reddick, who tends to play characters that range from stern to downright terrifying on screen, is a musician and jazz vocalist in his off hours. No, really!
Don't believe us? Check out Lance's MySpace page, which plays snippets from his self-released album Contemplations and Remembrances.
